Hilliard Neighborhood Summary

Hilliard is a lovely suburb of Columbus that is conveniently located near two interstates, making it a thriving center for businesses and prime commuting destination for Central Ohio residents. Though not the most walkable town, Hilliard offers an efficient bus service and other forms of public transportation for those without cars. For sportsmen (and women), you can enjoy one of the many parks in the area or Aquatic Adventures, Ohio’s best diving center. The people of Hilliard love their events, and the local organizations are sure to provide many throughout the year. There is the Taste of Hilliard & Business Expo, Hollyfest Arts & Crafts Show, Franklin County Fair, Solebrate, and Old Hilliardfest, among others. This town is also a center for many musical events, including a free concert in the summer that features a number of different local musicians. If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, stop by open mic night at Kitamu Coffee. Hilliard may be in the ‘burbs, but there is always something to go to, something to do.

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
